Pre-Insulated Tubing

In this tubing system, tubes are pre insulated with thermal insulation which is made of several layers and protected by outer jacket material in accordance with client requirements.

Overview

Techwin International’s pre-insulated tubing is engineered for optimal thermal efficiency in small-diameter pipelines used to transfer steam, condensate, liquid, and gas. This multi-layer thermal insulation tubing solution is designed to minimize heat loss, offering a cost-effective solution compared to traditional field insulation methods. Available in various lengths and configurations, these tubing systems are tailored to meet project-specific requirements​​.

Types

1. Electrical traced tubing with constant wattage heating cable

Techwin International’s Electrical Traced Tubing with Constant Wattage Heating Cable is engineered to sustain temperatures up to 200°C, with a maximum exposure limit of 260°C. Their key benefits are:
  • Precision-cut lengths to meet specific requirements,
  • Consistent power output
  • There’s no need for circuit breaker oversizing as there’s no inrush current at startup.

2. Electrical heat traced tubing with Self regulating heating cable:-

The Self-Regulating Heating Cable option maintains temperatures up to 121°C and withstands exposure up to 250°C. Their key benefits are:
  • Automatically adjusts power output in response to temperature changes, 
  • Significantly reducing the risk of overheating. 
  • Cut to length for your precise needs.

Rating & Performance

Ensures a safe outer jacket temperature under 60°C and an inner fluid temperature above 204°C with our Pre-insulated tubes. The insulation materials that produce these tubes, such as fiberglass and aerogel, can withstand temperatures up to 1200°F (649°C)​.

Insulation

Standard fiberglass insulation is employed for typical thermal protection. Our Pre-insulated tubes use Aerogel insulation for high-temperature applications exceeding 400°C, providing exceptional thermal resistance​.

Outer FR-PVC Jacket

The tubing features a UV-resistant FR-PVC jacket to withstand corrosive elements, water, oils, acids, alkalis, and other chemicals. It is designed to tolerate extreme temperatures ranging from -40 to 105°C, with a safe surface temperature limit of 80°C​.
